TESOL Arabia | EFL/ESL Professional Development Network

TESOL Arabia is a not-for-profit teachers’ membership organization devoted to the professional development of its members, who are mostly based in the UAE and the Gulf region, though we have many members in nearly 50 countries around the world. It is run by volunteers elected from its membership and is financed by the subscriptions of its members and the proceeds of its annual International Conference and Exhibition.

Our next annual conference (TACON 2018) will take place 8th-10th March 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

TACON 2018 will start in








TESOL Arabia Journal of Language and Research (TAJLR) is a newly-born, biannual, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary and open access journal directed to an international audience. The journal is affiliated with TESOL Arabia and it disseminates research in a myriad of disciplines in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond. The role of the journal is to promote high-quality research and it encourages multidisciplinary theoretical and empirical publications, such as research reports, articles, book and test reviews, related to the field of (applied) linguistics, education and other relevant disciplines. The journal links researchers, practitioners, academicians and scholars from the MENA region and beyond. All submitted contributions to the journal will be reviewed by at least two external reviewers before publication.
